The club's 1st XI is one of the better amateur teams in the region, with no paid professionals, playing in the Cambridgeshire Cricket Association Senior League, with the 2nd XI and 3rd XI in the Junior League. New members are always welcome at Histon Cricket Club, whatever their age or playing ability. SENIORS

We run 3 senior teams on Saturdays. Senior practice is on Thursday evenings from 6pm, w

ith the free use of a bowling machine at other times. There is an annual £25 subscription fee for senior players (Students are exempt). Match fees of £10 (£5 for students and juniors) per game. JUNIORS

We run teams at U9, U11, U11 girls softball, U13 and U15 age groups. Please email [email protected] for more details.

John makes his Cambridgeshire debut today, a fantastic achievement and one that everyone at Histon Cricket Club is incredibly proud of.

Super knocks from Hydey and .harrison saw the 1XI set a great total, then took his best figures in a Histon shirt to see them home!

Mailes was left stranded on 49* in a low scoring affair for the 2XI

The 3XI scored a mammoth 299 with J Taylor and S Rawlings going bezerk near the end! They followed up nicely with the ball and came away with a strong win.
