💙 Tuesday Club Run Report 🩵

All three Tuesday night runs set off in the rain yesterday, so huge credit to everyone who still came out.

The sessions included:

🩵 4 miles around Trumpington Meadows and Addenbrooke’s.
💙 A 6-mile loop down to the station and back through Addenbrookes.
🩵 Couch to 5K continuing to go from strength to strength — great progress across the group.

A strong turnout and solid effort all round, especially given the conditions.

Sunday miles with the Striders 🩵💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Three amazing runs this morning:

💙 10 miles into Cambridge up trumpington Road. Along the backs and following the river the along Jesus Green and back down the guided busway to Trumpington �🩵 12 miles into Cambridge, along the backs, following the river to Stourbridge Common and Coldhams Common and down the busway back to Trumpington.�🩵 And our 10K crew heading out around Hauxton, along Jenny’s Path to Shelford for an adventure with flooded paths, plenty of mud, and a few fallen trees to keep everyone on their toes!

Huge well done to everyone who came out this morning. Strong miles, great company, and another solid Sunday in the bank 💪✨ Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

South Cambridge Striders – Tuesday Night Run 💙🩵🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A little rain never stopped us… although it did mean numbers were slightly lower than usual! Still, brilliant energy out there on Tuesday.

💙 Our Couch to 5K crew continue to go from strength to strength – confidence growing every single week and it’s fantastic to see those steady progressions paying off 👏

🩵 The 4-mile group headed out for a loop around St Edith’s and Addenbrooke’s, keeping a strong, social pace and ticking off the miles with plenty of chat along the way.

💙 Meanwhile, the 6-mile group pushed up towards the station before looping back down through Trumpington.

Rainy miles are still miles in the bank. Same time next week – who’s in? 💪

💙🩵 Wet miles, strong runs 💪🌧️

Rain didn’t stop us this morning! One group tackled 9 miles, heading up along the Backs and looping back through Grantchester, while the 12-mile crew pushed up to the river in town before heading back to Trumpington.

Puddles, soggy shoes, and great company all round - well done all 👟👏

Tuesday miles in the bag 💙🩵

Another great Tuesday for our Striders, with two solid runs to kick the week off:

🩵 4-mile loop taking in Long Road ➝ Trumpington Road ➝ past Addenbrooke’s ➝ and back along Long Road to Trumpington Community College.

💙 6 miles up the guided Busway to the station, then back down Hills Road to TCC — a strong effort all the way home.

Well done to everyone who took part 👏 It was great to see you all out there. Hopefully see you on Sunday 💙🩵

Great running yesterday with South Cambridge Striders 👟💙🩵

We had three brilliant runs heading out across some of our favourite routes:

🩵 10km group took the classic route out to Hauxton Mill, through the fields and along Jenny’s Path to the Shelfords
💙 8-mile marathon group headed over to Haslingfield, building strong, steady miles
🩵 11-mile marathon group tackled the Gogs and Wandlebury, enjoying the hills and the views

Lovely conditions, great company, and plenty of miles banked. Well done everyone! 👏

Good turnout for Tuesday evening’s run. 👟💙🩵

We split into two groups and covered some great routes:

🩵 4-mile group took in a scenic loop along Long Road → Trumpington Street → Brooklands Avenue, then back up Long Road to finish in Trumpington.
💙 6-mile group headed out along the Guided Busway, before looping back via Shelford and Trumpington for some quality midweek miles.

Nice steady pacing, good chat, and perfect conditions for a run. Thanks everyone for coming out, same time next week! 🗓️

🏃‍♂️ Sunday Run with South Cambridge Striders 🏃‍♀️

Half marathon training continued last Sunday with two great group runs!

🩵 7-mile group enjoyed a steady loop around Hauxton and the Shelfords. Brilliant effort from everyone and great running from all.

💙 10-mile group headed out to the Gogs, taking in the climbs before cruising back down past Wandlebury – strong running and great teamwork.��See you next Sunday! 🩵💙

🏃‍♀️Tuesday Night Runs 🏃‍♂️

What a brilliant evening last night out on the roads and paths around South Cambridge.

👏 Fantastic to kick off our first Couch to 5K session, great to see so many runners joining us and getting started.
💪 A big welcome to our new 6 miles in 55 minutes group,
💙 wonderful to see the return of our 4-mile group.

Great running from everyone, lots of smiles, effort, and team spirit all round 🙌

There’s still time to join C25K and all our other running groups, whether you’re just starting out or looking to build distance and pace.

Come along and run with us, you’ll be glad you did! 💙🩵
