After another meeting with our Landlords, which lasted 1.5hrs on 11th February. They have gone away to review our comments and come back to use with a revised lease. At the same time we will be report back to the full committee and Trustees at our meeting on Monday 16th. With the latest information.

We are currently in talks with our Landlords over an extension of our current lease until October 2030.
We will keep you informed of our progress.
Until then it’s bowls as normal.

JAMIE STEWART - (November 2025) It is with deep sadness that I pass on the news that Jamie Stewart, Cambridge and County Bowling Club, has passed away. In 2009 he was part of the Men’s National Triples winning side with Robert Drew and Richard Catton. Jamie also was a Junior England Trialist in 2010 & 2011. I’m afraid I have no further details at this stage. Our thoughts are with his brother Ollie, at this time.

Our annual help with the Cancer Research Shine Walk. They used our car park as the pit stop as normal.
Port a loos, wheelie bins, gazebo, coffee wagon, helpers, stilt walker and of course approx 2,000 walkers raising money.

Well that's another outdoor season all wrapped up.
Winning the County Open League Division 1
Finalists up in County Men's Double Rink
Finalists in County Men's Over 55's Pairs - Sean Comiskey, Steve Thompson
Winning the Cambridge and District League Division 1
Winning the Cambridge and District League Champion of Champions
Winning the Cambridge and District League Gilbert Cup (Club Knock Out)
Finishing 3rd in Cambridge BH Pairs League - Open League Division 1.
Now the work starts at the Club replacing the timber on 2 edges of the green, followed by the Autumn renovation work on the playing service.
