Big shout out to Marcus who has added another activity opportuntity for our members - Rowing from Ely to the club and back over the weekend in a stable coxed quad. Everyone enjoyed themselves, probably because they stopped at a pub for lunch!!
If there is demand he may organise future trips, let him know if you are interested.

Congratulations to 5 of our coaches have successfully completed the British Rowing Level 2 Coaching Course! 🥳

You’ll be able to find our coaches out on the bank sporting their new Nines coaching jackets supporting rowers across the club from our Juniors to the Senior Men’s and Women’s squads.

Qualified coaches aren’t just a nice-to-have, they’re essential. They protect our athletes, raise our technical standards, and give every crew the best chance of success. 💪

Massive thanks to our coaching team for investing in their development and in the future of the club. We’re proud to have you leading us 🥹

On Sunday it was the final Tideway race of head season at the International Masters Head of the River Race for those more mature rowers (in age at least 😅).

Despite most having raced HoRR or been seat racing the previous day, our crews put in a strong showing, with our Scary Cuddly Furry Rawr Bears finishing as the 4th fastest mixed 8 (and second fastest Nines crew over the Championship Course this year 💪), and a composite quad featuring Braiden and Fernando with and finishing third 🥉 in the OMasA/B category.
