What a set of a session that was! Bats full of power and an great serve of games all round!

We got a intense couple of weekends commimg up with our first 3 home games over the next 4 weeks!!

Starting the ball rolling with welcoming Sussex Spitfires Showdown Club this Sunday 7th and Coventry Commets on Sunday 14th. Good luck to all players coaches and referees & Keep a bell out for updates on the days events! 🏓

East of England has one player representing at the tournament this weekend for the players first tournament. Goodluck to everyone.🍀🏆🏓

Good luck to all players competing at the 2026 British Blind Sport (BBS) Showdown Individual Nationals taking place this weekend at the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.

A huge thank you to The Primary Club for their generous support, enabling showdown to continue to grow across the UK, giving players, teams, and coaches the opportunity to compete, develop, and learn from each other.

Another great session tonight thank you to everyone for comming and thanks Lloyd for running the session and thanks to our lovely volunteers it was a great turn out.

First south league tournament away match complete ✅️

We had the pleasure of being hosted by the Coventry Commets for our first away match.

Our team was Amber, George H and Lloyd.

Results finished with us loosing 3-6 but we was chuffed with the result an many games was very tight!!
With a great skilled team as our opponents Matt, Estelle and Faz and their ref Steve.

We have all taken on some tips to work on and Lloyd has lots of session plans!!

Better late than never Happy New year everyone!! 🎉

Tonight will already be our second session of the year!!

For 2026 we have started a new payment option of annual payments.

For a years membership
Working adults : £100
Children/non working adults £60.
As always first session is free!

Also as it new year thought take a opportunity as our committee has changed over the last few months! So we would like to re introduce ourselves to you all!

Thank you everyone who came to our final session of 2025 last night, and to anyone and everyone who has joined our burgeoning club this year 🏓
We are so pleased to have achieved so much in our first full year as a club and super looking forward to everything that 2026 has to offer 🤞
We hope you all enjoy a wonderful festive break and can't wait to see you at our first session on the 5th of January next year! 🥳

Day 2 final day of National nine complete ✅️
Good news we came in the top 8... Bad news their was only 8 teams...

Today we played London 1 and Galloways.

Amber got 27 dead balls over the weekend...
Abbie got nearly as many irregular serves and George made friends a bit to much with the centre board.
But again we all scored we all had fun and we learnt lots!

Exciting progression. 6 different teams played this weekend with soon there to be 14 teams across the country.

Amber, Abbie and George are all looking forward to teaching the rest of EofEshowdown what we learnt from this weekend. An to get back on the table practicing the skills learnt too.

Day 1 of Nationals complete! ✅️
Unfortunately we didn't win overall either round. Between us we did 18 matches over 2 rounds playing Sheffield Strikers and London 3. Lots was learnt improved and celebrated an we can say we have tried our best which is all we can do! Playing, coaching each other and being sideline cheerleaders!
