Cambridge City Supporters Trust are pleased to launch an exciting new fundraiser for The Journey Home Project - a virtual running event!

The event being held throughout April will see participants complete the equivalent distance between our former Milton Road home and our new stadium in Sawston which is 9-miles in total. The event was officially launched by club mascot Lily the Panda who ran the actual route on 20th March!

But what exactly is a virtual run I hear you say?

A virtual run is where you sign up online to complete a given distance but you take part at a date, time and location to suit you! You can take part outside or on a treadmill, complete in one go or over a few days, run or walk. It’s completely up to you! It simply has to be completed in April.

There are only 100 places available with each finisher receiving a fantastic Cambridge City Supporters Trust Virtual Run 2021 medal to treasure. Entering costs just £20 and you can even raise sponsorship to further help the project.

Event organiser Derek Bailham said “The virtual run offers the flexibility for people of all fitness levels to take part. Every finisher will get a fantastic medal to recognise their efforts along with playing a vital role in the future of our football club.”
