Newmarket Divers BSAC 796 BSAC Scuba diving We are a SCUBA diving club in based between Cambridge and Newmarket. The club arranges a variety of trips for qualified divers each year.

We have around 50 members with varying interests including snorkelling, wreck diving, reef diving, mixed gas diving, free diving, rebreather diving and underwater photography. We also have 8 nationally qualified BSAC instructors and a qualified aqua aerobics/swimming instructor. We meet on Friday evenings from 7.00pm - 9.00pm at Bottisham Village College swimming pool and afterwards we usually gat

her at a local pub. Members and their families are entitled to use the pool free of charge on Friday nights between 8.00pm - 9.00pm - Children are welcome. We have monthly meetings (dry nights) on the first Tuesday of each month at 8.30pm at The Burwell Ex-Service & Social Club. This is generally a social night but it is also an excellent opportunity to find out about further training courses, planned club trips and discuss views and ideas. Destinations range from UK diving in places such as Weymouth, The Farne Islands, The Scilly Isles, Bracklesham, Scapa Flow and Ireland to locations further afield such as Malta, Egyptian Red Sea and The South China Seas

Club member Keiran Williams and his friends have started the End of End journey, riding from Lands End in Cornwall to John O’Groats in Scotland. They are doing the ride of around 1,500km and 14,000m of elevation gain in 9 days. Keiran and his friends are raising money of East Anglian Air Ambulance. Please support Keiran if you are able to.

Here is a video of the car stack in Dorothea. It's quite long but you can see the massive stack of cars in the lake. Been wanting to see these for a while. Film by Kieran Clarke's head mounted camera, so it's mostly me (actually it's all me, except for the odd shot of Kieran's hand). Some real collectables in this lot.

This is the pile of cars in Dorothea Quarry in North Wales. A very long swim and quite deep.
