We recently held our Summer Tournament for 2026 where we had 7 doubles teams competing against each other.

The format consisted of 4 1st round time-based matches with number of games won counting towards the teams' cumulative total. After the 1st round matches, the 4 teams with the highest totals moved through to the semi-finals for a first to 4 game match.

We ended up with the Final being played between Ben & Carole versus David & Gary. It was a closely fought contest with some great tennis being played in front of a gripped crowd which saw Ben & Carole eventually win 6-4.

Well done to Ben & Carole for a well deserved victory! They were awarded a trophy and prizes for their endeavours - enjoy!

The day saw some great tennis being played, along with the great weather (although a little breezy at times!) but it was also an opportunity for socialising & to enjoy some refreshments at the end - despite the national supermarket refrigeration challenges!

Thanks to everyone who contributed - to the organizers, the refreshment organisation and all the players for making it such an enjoyable day!

Come join us for our Fen Drayton Tennis Club Open Day – Sunday 17th May!

Interested to give tennis a try or to remind yourself why you enjoyed playing in the past? Thinking about becoming a member but would like to try before you commit? Why not come and join us on Sunday 17th May between 1030-1230 for our Club Open Day.

We have arranged for one of our coaches to be available to guide both Adults and Juniors through some activities to help you get a feel for the sport. We have rackets available to borrow for those who do not have them and some of our members will be on hand to give you some information about the club, explain the benefits of becoming a member and answer any questions you might have.

Also for those who turn up on the day, we will be offering a special discount for our various member packages. Simply come along and we will let you know how to take advantage of the discount!

We hope you will find the time to come and join us and look forward to seeing you next Sunday!

Interested to give tennis a try or to rekindle a past passion for the sport?

Our new membership year starts from April 1st and we are inviting new members to join us.

Becoming a member of the club gives you unlimited access to the courts, chance to join our regular Club Sessions, sign-up for Coaching which is available for Adults and Juniors (fee payable but Juniors are subsidised) or participate in our Ladder competition!

Booking the courts is easily done through our website so you can always be assured the courts will be available when you plan to play on them.

We have a great range of abilities at the Club so everyone from Beginners to Regular players will find other people to play with.

You can find details of our 2026/27 Membership packages on our website and we have frozen our membership fees for this season!

There is no better time to join the Club - now with 50% reduction in our fees!

We recently held our Summer Tournament for 2025 where we had 9 doubles teams competing against each other.

The format consisted of 4 1st round time-based matches with number of games won counting towards the teams' cumulative total. After the 1st round matches, the 4 teams with the highest totals moved through to the semi-finals for a first to 4 game match.

We ended up with the Final being played between Carole & Matthew versus Darren & Gary. After taking an initial 5-1 lead Carole & Matthew looked close to winning but after a fightback from Darren & Gary it eventually saw them narrowly lose 6-4.

Well done to Carole & Matthew for a well deserved victory! They were awarded a trophy and prizes for their endeavours - enjoy!

The day saw some great tennis being played, along with the wonderful weather (although a little breezy at times!) but it was also an opportunity for socialising & to enjoy some wonderful refreshments at the end.

Our new membership year starts from April 1st and we are inviting new members to join us.

On Sunday 2nd July we completed our summer tournament! We had 15 players entering the competition and we played through a time limited format on round robin basis which resulted in the top 4 teams going into semi-final knock-out followed by the big finale! The final between Jake, Nikki, Phil & Will was a very tight affair which some impressive rally's, great endeavor after a long morning on court and wonderful winning shots. Well done to Jake & Nikki on winning this summers tournament! Thanks to everyone who competed for joining, those spectators who stopped by to cheer everyone on and special thanks to Carole & Martin for organising and moderating the whole day.

Come join us for our Fen Drayton Tennis Club Open Day – Sat 14th May!

We have arranged for one of our coaches to be available to guide both Adults and Juniors through some activities to help you get a feel for the sport. Fen Drayton Tennis Club have entered a team into the Boys Cambs Summer U16 Tennis League.

So far they have competed against the might of Cambridge Lawn Tennis Club (CLTC) and Histon. Both of these are much bigger clubs with full-time coaches so our boys have done incredibly well to compete at this level.

The match against CLTC was a little one-sided as one of their players had made it to Wimbledon the previous year, but the match against Histon on beautifully manicured grass courts was a closely fought battle with so many long rallies and oohs and ahhs from the watching spectators. It really was an exciting watch! After 4 hours of play Histon clinched the tie but Fen Drayton can hold their heads high with the fantastic tennis played.

The words from the Histon coach was that the boys are a ‘credit to our club’ with the tennis etiquette that they showed and the fairness they displayed.

The next match is home to Cambourne which is usually a closely fought battle!

Well done boys and keep it going! Good luck for the next match!
