🌧️💚 A little bit of rain has gone a long way! 💚🌧️

It’s lovely to see our grass starting to turn green again after the recent rain!

We still need plenty more rainfall to help replenish our lakes and water levels, but it’s certainly a welcome start.

After such a dry spell, it’s amazing to see just how quickly the landscape can begin to bounce back.

Here’s hoping for a little more rain (but maybe not too much at once! 😉). 🌧️

Please remember not to leave rods unattended.

⚠️ Unattended rods are an offence ⚠️

We have recently received several reports of anglers leaving rods unattended while fishing.

Please remember that under the National Rod Fishing Licence Byelaws, anglers must remain in control of their rod and line at all times. Leaving rods unattended is an offence and may result in enforcement action.

Aside from being illegal, unattended rods can cause unnecessary harm to fish and wildlife and create risks for other water users such as boaters and swimmers.

Please fish responsibly and ensure your rod is always attended. 🎣

🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️ A huge well done to all of our Swim Bike Run runners this Sunday! 👏

We hope you had as much fun taking part as we did hosting you!

It’s amazing to see how much this little event has grown. A few years ago, we had just 3 regular participants — and we’re now regularly reaching our maximum of 30 competitors! 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported the event over the years. It’s been fantastic to see so many of you give triathlon a go, whether you’re completely new to it or a regular competitor. 💪

📅 Next up: Run Bike Run – 27th September
Make sure to sign up so you don't miss out.

We are heading back into the winter timetable which means that there will be no more swimming this year at these events. The swim will be back in spring 2027. The remainder of the events will be a duathlon (Run, Bike, Run) 🏃‍♂️😄

⛰️ Huge well done to Victoria! 👏

We’re giving a massive shoutout to one of our Watersports instructors, Victoria, who took on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro this summer! 🌍🥾

Quite the adventure — and what an achievement! We’re pretty sure getting back in the water after that feels like a walk in the park… 😉🌊
