Do you want to learn something new?

The newly formed Adult education team are running a sliver jewellery for beginners and improvers.

During this fun Silver Jewellery making class for beginners and improvers, you will receive a good grounding in the basic techniques used by jewellers worldwide, upon which all jewellery making is based. These include: metal forming, wire bending, piercing, silver casting – demonstration, silver soldering, polishing and stone setting. These are simply the basics from which all other jewellery making skills are developed, and can be expanded further if you wish by attending other classes which your college may be able to provide information about.

All tools and materials will be provided.

John Rothwell has been a tutor for many years and has delivered Silver Jewellery courses for beginners and improvers across Cambridgeshire.

Do you have experience/qualifications in delivering classes to Adults?

The Adult education programme is being taken over by the lettings and Sport centre team from September and we are looking for individuals to deliver courses to the community at LVC.

These classes can be in a variety of subjects/skills for example we have previously has Silver Jewellery, Spanish and Pottery classes. We can also offer cookery rooms to teach in in addition to larger spaces if needed.

At a pay rate of £25 per hour all bookings are managed by the admin team, setting up of the room will be dealt with by Site staff or sport centre staff.

Congratulations to Amy-Leigh Academy Of Dance who had an amazing show at the School a couple of weeks ago with over 200 people attending.
Amy runs classes at the Sport Centre Mon-Thur.

Congratulations to the happy couple who had their Reception at LVC this weekend, the photo does not give justice to how much of an amazing job they and their friends did to transform our Main hall into their reception venue.

We are slowly reintroducing lettings on the School site in line with Strict Risk Assessments and Government guidance.
We have some amazing facilities on site for after school groups, meetings, parties, performances and weddings all at a reasonable price. Pictures of our facilities can be found on our website and bookings can be made online.
Our Sport Centre will now be in charge of Lettings and any enquiries should be directed to our online booking site or by email [email protected]
We are again excited to provide facilities for all community groups.
