A traditional tackshop with a working saddlery workshop, just how it used to be,
With over 40 years of being around horses, and working in the horse world for 35 years, I worked for Equestrian Stop Saddlery from 1998 upto when it closed in 2006, I then moved the workshop home and continued to repair and make all tack until October 2011, when I moved back to The Old Colleges Dolcoath Road Camborne

, I then moved to Up Memory Lane Interiors 72 Trelowarren Street Camborne TR14 8AH in February 2018. Full saddlery workshop services, saddle fitting, belts and numourous other items made and repaired.

Friday 4th of September is a very significant date

It would have been Ruth's birthday, unfortunately as most of my friends and customers are aware she passed on August 22nd last year

Secondly, I started M R H Saddler on the 4th of September 2006, I have been based in several locations during the 20 years, but the longest is my current, (8 1/2 years)

When doing your usual saddle checks before a ride, take a few seconds to check your girth straps, this one looks OK at a glance, but look closer, and you can see it's stretched, so the middle is narrower than the ends, it needs changing
On the bench is how it would look on the saddle, the white card shows the issue, and the ruler confirms the width loss
