Happy New Year to all my customers past presant and future
This is a little bit long but please stick with it
So the first work day of 2026
For those who don't already know
2025 was a year from hell for me, yes I have some outstanding workshop jobs to complete, which I am getting through as I can, but taking in repairs and making items as normal
2025 started badly from January 5, when I found Ruth my wife in a diabetic coma, she also had a stroke and heart attack that morning, she spent 6 of the 8 months to August in and out of hospital, finally passing on 22nd of August, this caused immense stress and anxiety for me, but I continued working full time right through
Obviously I had a lot of things to sort out legally after her passing, which wasn't easy, if anyone is interested in a full size road legal mobility scooter, I still have it for sale
October went without too much stress, but then from the beginning of November I had kidney stones playing up, got through that after a couple of weeks, and then caught the lurgy going around, and am still suffering from that nearly two months on
However looking forward now, this is my 27th year as a saddler, and in September 20 years since I started M R H Saddler, I have no intention of closing etc, despite the lease for the front part of the building i am currently in being available for someone to take on, if it does happen I will simply move to the large workshop behind the shop.
