We have had such a fun weekend of activities. First up cleo or should I say mini Mario completed her first ever race 🥰 then I completed my first official half marathon. After months of struggling with my leg I was just happy to get round the course but even more happier with my time. Massive massive well done to Lydia also with an amazing PB 🥰🥰

Last September these two lovely ladies rocked up in the gym, neither had properly lifted weights before. The first session consisted of a mixture of body weight and 2.5kg weights. 7 months on, Milly has joined the 100kg squat club with Jane very close behind. Their overall fitness and strength has increased no end, they are confident within their bodies whilst also understanding their bodies. But most of all they turn up week in and week out with big smiles on their faces.

Well done to you both, one very proud PT here🥰

1 whole year in my little wooden gym

Looking back at these photos has me feeling emotional 🥹 I’ve loved every single session with you all & I’m so proud of how far my little business has come.

Being self-employed isn’t always easy - lots of self-doubt, big decisions & staying motivated on your own — but after years in PT, I finally feel like I’ve built exactly what I dreamed of ❤️

The last sessions here are now done (cut slightly short thanks to my broken wrist 🙈) … but this is just the beginning. Stay tuned 👀 exciting things are on the way!

This week’s sessions have been all about our posture, slowing down, and standing tall.

We’ve been focusing on:
✨ Posture awareness – reconnecting with how we move and hold ourselves
✨ Nasal breathing – to calm the nervous system and re-align the spine
✨ Shoulder positioning – learning how to un-round, open the chest, and feel stronger in everyday life

So often, stress, phones, and fast-paced routines pull us forward — rounding our shoulders, tightening our diaphragm, and leaving us disconnected from our bodies.

But when we breathe well, we move well.

Power Couple!

Huge shoutout to Lydia for smashing her half marathon this weekend!
It was a tough one—hot, and hard, but Lydia powered through with determination! We have been working closely on building strength to remain injury free, two weight sessions a week and a few tweaks to nutrition where key.

And let’s not forget Matt, who threw down some serious weight in the gym tonight! Big lifts, strong form, focused mindset. Love seeing this power couple supporting each other and putting in the graft—on the road and in the gym.
