Sunday 30th August saw our first Open & Welcome Back Day at Watchetts Park.

🏉 Lots of squads back training
🧹 Volunteers putting a great shift in around the clubhouse
👋 Welcome stall for potential new players and families
🍰 Cakes & cookies
🔥 BBQ
🛍️ A busy Club Shop
🎯 Hit the Bar challenge — although apparently everyone was saving their kicking boots for the season! 😂
🎟️ And our first ever live-streamed raffle draw to finish the day.

There is plenty we can build on for next year, but it was a really positive way to start the new season.

Skills, smiles, and slices - the perfect start to a new campaign.

The season kicked off with a proper Camberley buzz -plenty of energy, plenty of smiles, and everyone straight back into the swing of things.

The evening saw an impressive turnout, with the pitch full of players shaking off the summer break and settling back into the rhythm of training.

After the final huddle, boots were off and pizza boxes were opened. The clubhouse buzzed with laughter, match‑chat, and the kind of camaraderie that makes pre‑season special. For new players, it was a chance to feel instantly included. For returning players, it was a reminder of why they love this club.

Moments like these -simple, warm, and shared -are what build strong squads long before the first competitive fixture.

Exciting news for Camberley RFC Minis!
