I have the hunger to catch my first uk 30lb carp after 25 years of fishing very occasionally and catching fish in the uk to just under 22lb. �

An amazing weekend at the Anglers Against Cancer fundraising event saw me bank two thirties and a twenty pounder from Manor Lake on the Linear complex. We also took our total for this year to over 60k raised for Children With Cancer UK. I think I definitely need to change the name of this page 🤣

I’m on Twynersh fishery this weekend on Pit 2. It’s a lovely looking lake with fish to 39lb+. It’s proving tricky. Lots of savage liners last night which I’m assuming was fish kiting through the w**d and picking up my lines so a change of tactics this morning at first light and no more liners. Unfortunately no fish yet either 😂 see what the last 24 hours bring 🙏🙏🙏🎣🎣🎣

I’d actually forgotten about this page 😂 so busy. Few fish from Todber Manor a few weeks back including (drumroll please).........my new PB 🕺😍🍾🎉🎉🎉🎊😂 lovely 23.1 Mirror. After 20 odd years of trying (sort of) it’s finally done. Now hopefully the curse has been lifted there may be bigger to come 🙏 enjoy your time on the bank guys. That after all is what it’s all about 🎣🎣🎣

Starting a new job on September the 4th. Crossing everything for a 48 hour session before I start. Hopefully off to Woking next Thursday and Friday in the hope of one or two of the big ones 🙏🙏🙏🎣🎣🎣

Off out for a day session tomorrow. Early start to maximise my chances. Royalty Baits boilies soaked in h**p oil snowman style on iqd rigs for tactics. Also got some golden grain for extra pulling power. This may entice the bream but where there's bream there's carp......wish me luck 👍👍👍

So the French PB is taken care of. Hoping for a chance at the UK one very very soon. The gear is sitting poised and ready to go. The bait is waiting patiently in the freezer.....all I need now is some time. It's coming though....I can feel it 🙏🙏🙏

Off to the islands carp Fishery in Mere, Wiltshire in the morning. Fish are coming out steadily. Going all out for a bite or two. Plenty of mid to high twenties being caught. This could be the weekend that the pb gets beaten 🙏🙏🙏 if not, doesn't matter. It's a stunning place and I'll be in the company of some great lads and we'll be raising some much needed cash for two very worthy causes. Have a great weekend all ###
