Men without sheds… but not for much longer.

After years without a clubhouse of our own, Calverton Bowls Club is finally taking matters into our own hands. This afternoon, thanks to the hard work of our members — with invaluable assistance from Councilor Andy Meads — the concrete base was laid in preparation for the new building arriving next week.

As well as giving us somewhere to shelter when the heavens inevitably open, the new clubhouse will allow us to offer so much more to our members and the wider community. Exciting times ahead for the club!
P.S No bowlers were harmed in making of this concrete base 😁
