Calne Badminton Club is still open for business.

We run 3 club nights in the town and one is soon to open near Chippenham.

7 to 10 pm
St Mary’s Sports Hall

Shared with Calne Pickleball club (6-7:30 pm)

Thursdays
7 to 9 pm
Calne Community Campus
Junior coaching
4 courts.

Happy New Year badminton players!!

Our 2025 programme commences from Monday 6th January at our Beversbrook venue 7-9 pm.

Our main Wednesday session at St Mary’s Sports Centre begins on Wednesday 8th January.

Our full first week of 2024 starts tonight at Beversbrook 7 pm to 9 pm.

Want something bigger, why not try our Tuesday session at Calne Community Campus from 7 pm to 10 pm

All new players get TWO weeks free (up to 6 free sessions during that fortnight).

Our first session of 2024 is on Wednesday 3rd January at St Marys Sports Centre Sports Hall from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Our other sessions at Calne Town Council - Beversbrook 7-9 pm (Mondays) starts up the following week on 8th,

and our Tuesday 7-10 pm session at Calne Community Campus restarts on Tuesday 9th and our Thursday junior coaching session also at Calne Community Campus 7-9pm from Thursday 11th.

We have a new Sunday session starting from 28th January 2024 in a brand new venue for the club, more details later.

Our revised club website will be launched soon.

A UKCC level 1 badminton coaching course space has opened up for new coaches.
The dates of training are 7th and 14th January in Bath, UK.

Please can you let me know if you’d like to attend as the club we are working with, is now out of pocket due to a last minute cancellation and the whole course is in danger of not running.
Anyone fancy becoming a club assistant coach? Let me know asap..

Congratulations to Claire.

A HUGE well done to our duty manager Claire for winning the Our Wiltshire Innovator of the Year award at the council WOW’s awards event recently! 🥳🫶

Claire has been responsible for some of the great events at the centre this year and is constantly trying to develop new ideas and activities to encourage people to use the centre.

We’re so pleased for her and she’s done our entire leisure service proud ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
