Unfortunately we’ve had to postpone quite a few Pennywort Mill Miniature Donkeys visit due to the relentless heat.

We did manage to get out to Camplehaye Residential Home in a recent lull!

Button and Mimi had a wonderful time.

Hopefully we can catch up on more visits soon!

What a fantastic day we had at Callington Primary School PSA Summer Fair at Callington Primary School 🫏💚

Our donkeys loved meeting everyone and taking part in the meet-and-greets and donkey walks. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and to be part of such a special day for the children.

A huge thank you to Callington Primary School for inviting us and to everyone who came along to say hello. We always enjoy bringing the donkeys out into our local community, and days like today remind us just how much joy these gentle characters can bring.

We hope everyone had as much fun as Button and Mimi did! 🥰

The donkeys have been keeping busy! 🫏💚

Last week they had a wonderful day at St Sampson’s Church Medieval Fete, meeting lots of visitors and bringing plenty of smiles.

Today they’re off to Callington Primary School for meet-and-greets and donkey walks as part of the school’s summer celebrations. We can’t wait to help make some more special memories!

It’s always a pleasure sharing our gentle donkeys with the local community. ❤️

🎉 Donkey Walks are coming to the Callington Primary School Summer Fair! 🫏💕

Come and meet our adorable miniature donkeys Mimi & Button, and if he’s on his very best behaviour… Beaker might be making a special guest appearance too! 🤞🫏

For just £1 per person, little ones can meet and walk our friendly Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys around the school field.

It will be one of the highlights of the day and a lovely way to get up close with these gentle animals.

If you're looking for something a little different this Saturday, why not step back in time at the Medieval Summer Fayre at St Sampson's Church, South Hill?

We'll be there with our much-loved miniature donkeys, who'll be looking forward to meeting everyone throughout the afternoon. They're always a favourite with children (and plenty of adults too!).

Alongside the donkeys you'll find falconry, children's archery, medieval entertainment, Launceston Town Band, stalls, games, teas, cakes, b**r, food, ice cream and much more.

Bandit has been for a little stroll now the rain has finally stopped ☁️🐐

He’s been saying hello to the donkeys, the big goats, and some of the other animals around the smallholding again. He’s very excited that he’s getting big enough to go in with them properly now… not long to wait! 💛

He’s growing in confidence every day and loves being part of all the action here at Pennywort Mill 🐾🌿
