As we enter the final month of the cricket season, we still have several social events in the calendar.
Join us at Menheniot Looe CC on Saturday 15th August for the inaugural Cricket Widows Day!
We’re the only official host club in Cornwall so Cricket Widows, Lady Cricketers and Cricket Mums this is a day for you!
While the men play on the pitch , we’re getting spoilt!

By registering for your free ticket you’ll automatically be entered into a free prize draw where you could win;
* A day with the founder of The Cricket Widows Club
* Barmy Army merchandise
* Neon Cricket Goodies
Then email [email protected] to let the club know which events on the day you’d like to participate in.
There’s an afternoon tea for the ladies in the Willow Garden starting at 1:30 with your choice of tea or coffee for £12 or you can upgrade your afternoon tea to include Prosecco or non alcoholic w**e for £15.
Stay into the evening and join us for a club bbq (pay as you go) where we’re sure that the men will be doing the washing up!
Plus there’s a Silent Disco (£5 per person) from 8:30. So if your thing is 80s leg warms and dancing round the room to Come on Eileen, or donning your cowboy hat and boots because you’ve got Friends in Low Places we’re not going to judge!!
You can pay for as much or as little as you like but book all three events and pay no more than £20.
Children welcome along too, as are well behaved dogs!
On Friday 21st August we have our Horse Racing Night.
From 7pm onwards we will have 6 races including 1 LIVE race (the Hugh Rogers Champion Hurdle).
The bar will be open and pizzas will be available. Bets can be placed via card or cash (with cash being preferred).
On 2nd October we have our annual presentation evening at the Hannafore Point Hotel.
Starting from 19:30 it gives us a chance to celebrate the each other’s achievements.
Attached is the menu for the evening, with Adults costing £26.50, and Children costing £13.25 for the evening.
