Super happy with Claire Pierce’s progress over the last few weeks 🤩

Claire has been developing her Olympic lifts and has been focusing on being stable in her clean. Tonight she hit a 35kg clean with good stability and depth. For a new lifter, technique is coming along great!

🫶🏻 5 Years of Getting it Together 🫶🏻

5 years ago I posted this picture. After years of ‘yo-yoing’ I had enough.

Before I would do fad diets, restrict myself, starve myself and do hours of exercise that I absolutely hated.

Inevitably, I would give up, put all the weight back on and be back to square 1.

5.5 years ago I made the change. Chose to gradually change my diet habits so they were sustainable. Took part in exercise I really enjoyed and found my love for weightlifting. Value my body, not for what it looked like, but for what it could physically do.

5 years on and I haven’t fallen off the bandwagon… because this is my life now.

❌No ‘diets’
❌No moaning about having to exercise
❌No risk of health issues that come with being overweight.
❌ No excuses.

Just making these habits a part of my normal life.

Was it easy? Absolutely not. However, if you want it bad enough, you’ll do it.

Claire had a fantastic first Olympic lifting session. We started looking at her movement patterns and working on the front squat/clean.

Some very impressive power jerks too!

I am so excited for Mclaren to open their new gym. It is an amazing refurbishment and will provide so many training opportunities! 💪🏻🏃🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️

The Open Day for this will be Saturday 27th August.

The open day will involve taster classes and gym inductions as well local business running stalls to provide information on what is happening in the community.

I will be there to provide any information regarding Personal Training, Health and Fitness. Wether you are looking to start Personal Training or just want general information, come along and see me! There might be a goodie bag in it for you 😜.

Very excited to share that McLaren Leisure are opening a BRAND NEW Gym!!!

This new facility will offer a fantastic opportunity to motivate and push you to start your fitness journey.

With Callander being a small community, we were already lucky to have such a great facility where we live. With this new refurb, locals will be able to enjoy and make use of a high standard gym facility without having to travel miles to do so.
