🔵⚪️ CAPTAIN & VICE CAPTAIN ⚪️🔵

We are delighted to announce that our First Team Captain for the 26/27 campaign will be Sam Phillips and our Vice Captain will be George Mitten.

🔵 Sam has been with the Bluebirds for 3 years and is a fantastic character within the group. Sam leads by example, always giving everything for the cause and is a huge part of what we're seeking to achieve as a club.
Congratulations, skipper 🫡

🔵 George has been with the Bluebirds since early 2023 and has grown as a leader within the group over his time at the club. George's passion and desire set the bar on the field and we are delighted to see him take on the role of Vice Captain.

🔵⚪️ FIRST TEAM MANAGER ⚪️🔵

Caersws Football Club are delighted to confirm that Neil Lewis has been appointed as First Team Manager for the forthcoming season. After taking the role on a interim basis last season, with the departure of Craig Williams, we are pleased to announce that he will taking on the Manager's role for the coming season.

In order to take up this position, Neil will be stepping down as Chairman of the club at the forthcoming AGM.

The board are unanimous in their belief that Neil is the right man to lead the team forward. Neil's record over the past 2 seasons in his significant contribution to leading the team to a strong set of results in difficult circumstances speaks for itself.

We look forward to continuing our journey as a Mid Wales football club that showcases Mid Wales talent, with Neil at the helm.

Neil's staff team will be announced in due course.

With sadness we announce that our captain and centre back Harry Cottam and midfielder Dillon Browne will be leaving the club after accepting an offer from another club.

Both leave with our very best wishes.

Harry has served the club with distinction over the past 4 seasons, the past 2.5 years as our captain. Harry, thanks for all your efforts in Blue - all the best with your next step.

Dillon has had an excellent couple of seasons with the Bluebirds. Again, Dillon, thank you for your contributions to our club - we wish you all the best and hope the next step works out for you.
