A huge shoutout to all our players for kicking off the new season this weekend! Opening games are never easy, but both teams showed fantastic spirit, determination, and teamwork from the first whistle to the last 🧡🖤

​Team Black faced a tough challenge against Treforest, a powerhouse side who finished in the top three last season. The scoreline doesn't reflect the incredible effort the boys put in against a very strong opposition. They kept their heads up, worked hard for each other all match, and laid down a great foundation to build on.

​Team Orange played out an absolute thriller against a newly promoted Pontyclun side in a high-energy, end-to-end game. The boys played some brilliant football, showed great attacking flair, and fought right until the final whistle.

After last week's game was called off, Aber Valley Team Orange are raring to go as they travel away to face Pontyclun Yellow U13s this weekend! ⚽️

​Meanwhile, it's a huge day over at Senghenydd Cricket Pitch as Team Black play their very first scheduled game of the season, hosting Treforest at 11:30am.
