Friday Reflection πŸ”₯

Realising I’ve gone from running 30km a week while training for a marathon to only managing 5–8km a week over the last month. Swansea Half next week might need a little re-think πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

Late nights, early mornings, mum mode, work, life… sometimes that feels like a marathon in itself! 🀣

But here’s the thing…

I’ve still managed one strength session a week and kept up my mini abs routine πŸ”₯

Training is a lifestyle for me, and one thing I’ve learned is that it’s okay to fall off track with your goals. Life happens. Progress isn’t always linear.

Sometimes getting back up and starting again is more powerful than never stopping at all. πŸ’ͺ

So if you’ve had a few weeks (or months) where things haven’t gone to plan, don’t beat yourself up. Give yourself some grace, reset, and start where you are.

Here’s to closing out a long month of May and heading into June ready to lace up my trainers, hit the roads, and get back after it. 🩷

Restarting isn’t failure. Quitting is. And I’m definitely not quitting. πŸ”₯
