At SWSS we follow the Swim Wales Learn to Swim Framework, providing a structured pathway for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Our programme includes:

We know it’s lovely to capture your child’s progress, but during swim lessons we keep photography restricted to protect privacy and maintain focus in the pool.⭐️

With consent, our team may take approved photos safely and appropriately—so you can still enjoy and celebrate those special moments 💜

When you join our swim school, we request photogrphic consent so we can safely and responsibly capture moments from lessons.

This helps us:
- Share swimmers progress and achievements🏅
- Support visual learning👀
- Advertise on social media📲

Consent is completely optional. If you ever wish to change or withdraw consent, we will ensure this is handled promptly wihtout question.💜

That is why we build free time in our lesson - to help swimmers develop confidence and awareness.💜

🛟Aquatic Safety vs Learning to Swim🛟

At our swim school, we don’t just teach swimming skills. We also teach vital water safety skills that can help swimmers stay safe in and around the water.

This includes:
✅ Floating on your back
✅ Understanding potential dangers
✅ Building water awareness
✅ Learning the Water Safety Code

🏊Alongside this, we help swimmers develop their technique, confidence, and ability in the water so they can enjoy swimming for life🏊

💜Inclusivity💜

At our swim school inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do.

We aim go to make space for everyone withij our mainstream lessons wherever possible, helping every swimmer feel included, supported, and confident🌟

1:1 for some swimmers is the best first step. From there we will try and work towards building and progressing into mainstream lessons.

And if that isn’t the best fit, we will continue to work with you and meet the swimmers needs.
