Meet Kelly:

Kelly has been a part of RAW Adventures for years. From doing part of her Lowland Leader Qualification with us, to recently delivering her first Lowland Leader Training course as Course Director. Not to mention all of the other work as a Lowland Leader Kelly has done for RAW.

Kelly's story follows her progression through the professional outdoor world, and is in a perfect position to deliver these courses. Using the specific skills taken from the course and learnt through her own experience in this area, she makes for a brilliant Course Director.

Kelly has gone on to complete her Camping Leader and Mountain Leader qualifications too. A joy to work with and a smile for everyone, if you get the chance to meet Kelly, then you're sure to have a fun, educational, and memorable event.

Crib Goch, meaning “Red Ridge” in Welsh, is one of the most dramatic and exposed Grade 1 scrambles in the UK, as well as a fun and exhilarating way to summit Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). With a summit reaching 923 metres, it’s the most challenging route to the summit of Yr Wyddfa, but also the most iconic.

The rocks of Crib Goch were formed millions of years ago, but the sharp arete is the shape it is today due to the last ice age, when two glacial hanging valleys (cwms) were formed back-to-back, carving out the landscape we see now. The result is a narrow, knife-edged ridge with thrilling exposure and dramatic views...
