Last years The Welsh Government
provided a £1 million boost to
promote women's golf in Wales aiming to create a lasting legacy from the 2025 AIG Women's Open, which was
held at Roval Porthcawl from 30 July - 3 August 2025. This investment, through Sport Wales, represented a major government effort to ensure the first Welsh staging of the championship has a long-term impact on
through Sport Wales, supports the Women's Golf Legacy Fund, which focuses on improving facilities and increasing participation for women and girls across Wales.
Thanks to Pat Cutler Price, Neath Ladies were successful in winning a generous grant enabling us to refurbish our Ladies Locker Room. Big thank you to all involved.

Neath Golf Club held their 15 Holes Coffee Morning today, the weather stayed dry but the cold, blustery wind made for difficult playing conditions.

The best visitors score came from Carole, Anita & Karen from Greenmeadow GC - 60 points
Runners Up from Pontardawe were Janet, Emma & Catherine - 56 points

The home winners were Louise, Jackie & Carole - 57 points
Runners Up were Ladies Captain Chris, Jess & Lynda - 57 points (b6)

The visiting ladies were very complementary about the course and had a great day.🏌🏽‍♀️🏌🏽‍♀️

Congratulations to the new Club Champion Marita Williams. 🏆

After a hard fought match that saw Marita and Sophie Michael all square after 36 holes, the match was was won by Marita on the 37th.

Well played , outstanding performance from you both this is what champions are made of.

In the WWLGA Girls Championship at Derllys Court today, Harriet and Maisie from Neath came 1st and 2nd in the 9 hole modified stableford!
