After a fantastic first event, the dust has finally settled on THE COLOSSEUM.
To see our team work as hard as they have over the past few months, putting everything together and watching it lead to such a successful night, was incredible.
Coach Jake and the big boss Rachel, planned and organised the event/bouts like it was our 100th show, not our first. The amount of work that went on behind the scenes was unbelievable, and seeing it all come together on the night made every bit of it worthwhile.
I personally want to thank every team involved. Every single one of you came to fight, showcased your skills and were an absolute pleasure to work with. We genuinely appreciated all the kind words on the night, we also really appreciate the messages since the event.
A massive thank you to Tony Cunningham and his boys from ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ for coming along to help and support us. To have such a high calibre team willing to turn up, get involved and help us make the night a success meant so much. Thank you for the words of encouragement and the continued support lads.
Adam and Sharron Hybrid Kickboxing Amble , consummate professionals and once again, an absolute pleasure to work with. Iโm lucky enough to have known Adam since we were kids, and to have him still supporting and helping my club and our events all these years later means more than I can put into words. A massive thank you to you both.
But this is only the beginning.
THE COLOSSEUM isnโt a one off event.
Our plan is to build this into a credible, long term fight banner. One that fighters, coaches and teams genuinely want to be part of.
Weโll always aim to bring you exciting bouts across MMA, K1, Muay Thai and boxing, while making sure the fighters and teams are looked after and treated properly from beginning to end.
The first one showed us exactly what THE COLOSSEUM can become.
