Great fun at King George V Playing Fields this morning - well done everyone, lots of effort, banter and team spirit on display!!!

Photos to follow, but attached are the all-important results from the various events this morning.

And after today's event, the Overall Leaderboard for the Matt Jones Jerry Can Club Award 2022 now looks like this:
- Effing Georges 382 pts
- Woking Wildcats 355 pts
- Chobham Champions 285 pts
- Laleham Plungers 165 pts

Well done to the Eff'ing Georges for pulling out into a clear lead over the Woking Wildcats.........can the Wildcats respond?

Sunday 15 May is the second inter-park challenge event!!!

Venue is King George V Playing Fields in Effingham, will be going for drink and lunch afterwards at The Queen Stage in Effingham afterwards for those who can stick around (it's a short walk from the park).

EACH PARK NEEDS MINIMUM OF 4 MEMBERS TO MAKE UP A TEAM. THERE IS A GOOD SIZE CAR PARK AT KING GEORGE V PLAYING FIELDS BUT PLEASE CAR SHARE WHERE POSSIBLE.

PLEASE BOOK ON VIA THE APP ASAP SO I CAN PLAN THE EVENTS FOR THE NUMBERS ATTENDING!!

BLUES REDS AND GREENS ALL CAN WIN POINTS FOR TEAM, THIS ISN'T JUST FOR GREENS!!!

Join BMF again for some school holiday family fitness fun this Easter! 😃

Get the whole family involved in a 60 minute outdoor workout - suitable for all ages and abilities, have fun whilst keeping active!

Sessions running during week commencing 11 April at Laleham Park, Woking Park and KGV Playing Fields, Effingham.

Places are available to book now via the BMF MEMBER APP. Prices are per family, not per person - so great value!!
BMF Members: £5 per family per session
Non-BMF Members: £10 per family per session

BMF'ers - reminder that starting this Saturday at Chobham the next round of quarterly fitness assessments will begin! 💪

These fitness tests will take the place of the usual Military Fit class on that day, and will be the same format as previous assessments so you can benchmark your performance versus prior efforts!

Brilliant effort from the Woking Wildcats, Laleham Plungers, Eff'ing Georges and hosts Chobham Champions at this mornings Inter-Park Competition on Chobham Common!!! 💪 🙌

Was a closely fought contest with Woking Wildcats just edging it today.......but Eff'ing Georges retain a slender 1 point lead in the overall leaderboard for the Matt Jones BMF Jerry Can Club 2022 Award!

Great team spirit and camaraderie all through the morning and a lot of mud, sweat and laughter - look forward to seeing you all (and more of you!) at the next inter park event at Effingham on Sun 15 May! 👍 😁

- Woking Wildcats 172 pts
- Chobham Champions 142 pts
- Laleham Plungers 102 pts

So it couldn't be closer at the top of the leaderboard but with 3 more inter-park events to come there are still loads of points available and time for Chobham and Laleham to challenge the two early leaders!!

Next inter-park challenge will be at King George V Playing Fields in Effingham on Sunday 15 May - 9-11am - so get it in your diary now!!
