🎉 We’ve been nominated! 🎉

We're thrilled to share that the Walk the Moorlands volunteer team has been nominated for a Support Staffordshire Volunteer Recognition Award 2025! 💚

We’re not sure who nominated us but thank you! You're absolutely right... a lot of time, effort and love goes into planning, reccying and leading our walks, and supporting brilliant events like the Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival.

It’s lovely to see that effort recognised during (and now just after!) Volunteer Week 🙌

📅 We’ll be receiving our certificate at the Staffordshire Moorlands VCSE Marketplace Forum:

🗓8 Weeks until the Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival !!!

🥾Join us for a celebration of walking and the great outdoors, with long distance adventures, special interest guided walks and scenic strolls, as the Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival returns on Friday 26th April until Monday 6th May.

🧭Try something new with a Nordic Walking Taster Session (28th April), saunter along the Staffordshire Way (4th May) or take on a real challenge with the Staffs 3 Peaks walk (6th May).
