Buxton FC are pleased to confirm that Stuart Watkiss has agreed to join the Club as Assistant Manager as Jordan Broadbent brings together his coaching staff.

Stuart was assistant to Adam Murray at Kidderminster last term as Harriers gained promotion, so knows what it takes to be competitive in the National League North.

Watkiss, perhaps best known for time spent at Grimsby Town and Mansfield Town, has a wealth of experience coaching in England and abroad - including assistant coach with Bangladesh.

Most notably, Watkiss has earned his plaudits bringing young players through academy football and developing into first team regulars in the Football League.

Buxton FC are pleased to announce the signing of highly-rated midfielder ๐™†๐™ž๐™–๐™ฃ ๐™Ž๐™˜๐™–๐™ก๐™š๐™จ as the first signing under Jordan Broadbent.

The former Scunthorpe United man started out at Bradford City. Kian signed his first professional contract in July 2020 and made several appearances in League Two for The Bantams.

We are thrilled to welcome Kian to the Club as the first signing of the summer. ๐Ÿ’™

Buxton FC can confirm that we have agreed the permanent transfer of Luke Brennan to Scunthorpe United for an undisclosed fee.

Luke has been a key player for the Bucks since arriving from AFC Fylde in January 2024, earning several Player of the Month awards and playing a major role in the Bucksโ€™ back-to-back playoff campaigns.

The Club wishes to place on record its thanks to Brenno for his efforts during his time at the Club, and we wish him well for the future. ๐Ÿ’™
