Today was the 8th ride for mountain bike leader, leaving only 2 left to do.

It was a fantastic day riding around snowdonia in unexpectedly good weather. There were snow peaked caps and blue skies all around.

We came across an old abandoned mine town with slate buildings, just like wales own hobbiton. That's one of the many joys in planning your own route, you just never know exactly what sights are going to be around the next corner.

I hope you're all having an amazing week, I hope to put up some more posts later this week, but until then enjoy these photos and stay classy.

Today I went with a couple of friends for a hike a bike up helvellyn.

Lots of ice, a few crashes and some frozen hair later and I feel like I've conquered helvellyn!

So that will be 3 rides left to do for mtb leadership 😀

It has certainly been a productive weekend off. I hope everyone else has had a great weekend.

I realise I haven't posted for a while, thats because there hasn't been a great deal to post about.

Having trouble getting out of the peak district to complete my last 4 rides for mtb leadership, there always seems to be something standing in the way.

That's enough negativity for one post, so heres a few photos of recent rides in the good old mudfest that is the peak district.

Had a great afternoon riding around goyt valley today, minus an unwanted argument with a park ranger and a flat tyre. The views of fog coated hills and the crisp air made it all that more magical.

If you haven't left buxton today then you won't have seen the sunshine but I assure you it's there. You see the photo of fog in the valley, yep, that's buxton under there.

Anyway I hope everybody is having a great weekend and enjoying this glorious weather :-)

Todays ride was muddy, cold and wet and a good sign of things to come, but it was a great ride.

Got chased by cows and ended up knee deep in muddy bogs, all part of the territory though.

So that marks the half way point of rides needed for mtb leadership!

Mountain biking 101:
Take time to enjoy the simplicity of riding and take in the journey.

Got my fair share of fresh, fetal infused air today, tasted it too 😝 but had a great ride non the less. The weather held out and it ended up being an absolute belter of an afternoon.

Clocked up 17km today and that makes 4/10 rides done towards mtb leadership. We're progressing, slowly progressing, but progressing none the less.

Well being as the second part of today was rather dry, I decided to check out the condition of macclesfield forest with my little canine companion.

Overall a good ride, a bit rutty, but good none the less.

Hi everyone, I haven't been able to post for a while as life has caught up with me and I've been a bit hectic.

But enough of excuses, should be back on track now. And talking of tracks I took my novice friend, who's recently bought a new bike, for a ride around kinder scout yesterday, so here's some pictures.

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately I haven't managed to finish the blog for this week but I will have it finished before the weekend is out.

For the next blog I will be asking for suggestions on what to write about, whether it be Bad weather riding, crashes, riding different areas of the UK or something completely different, like a write up on does and do not's of biking or the best bike to buy when getting in to Mountain Biking. Please give me your thoughts.

Anyway here is a (not very good) screenshot of the homepage of the website that's currently under construction, we are making good progression with it, just looking for a decent free day to get some fresh photos.
