What do you do in your spare time???

Today I got up at 3:30am to ride my horse round in circles in torrential rain in front of two judges to chase a little girls dream of riding at Olympia one day!

Phase 1 complete. Marley smashed his first time at a county show, little show ponies being lunged everywhere, heavy horses popping their enormous heads out of temporary stables with flapping tarpaulin roofs, scurry ponies whizzing out the main ring, Taylor Swift playing on the PA system ringside, he coped so well.
The judges weren’t as pleased with his as I was but we’ve both gained loads of confidence so we will be ready to try again at another show next month. 💪🏻

Heard on the stand today…

“Your social media is really good!”

Must be doing something right for .forge 🤗

It was hot as balls at Laughton Show this weekend and although we didn’t get the sales we would have liked, it was a brilliant brand awareness exercise.

So many people commented that they knew we were here from sharing that on our socials, to seeing us at previous shows and recognising the sign board that’s usually outside on the road.

I was explaining to Dexter that although it didn’t seem like we sold much this weekend, long term it will probably lead to lots of sales because so many more people have seen how the rocket stoves work and trust us and our brand.

It didn’t help that it was 30 degrees and the signal was non existent, so card payments couldn’t be taken, but let’s focus on the positive!

I spent time with my family, caught the sun, made the best bannock bread to date and grown our following!

Spotlight on my clever client Masterclass Dog Training & Behaviour with Helen Masters
and her incredible friend Emily…

Emily from Nanny McPets had a goal of producing a podcast and wanted to collaborate with my client Helen from Masterclass Dog Training and Behaviour with Helen Masters.

Along with her sidekick and PA, Gina, the three of them have spent hours recording unfiltered, unpolished, raw and real content. In addition to that, Emily has spent even more hours editing and learning how to produce and upload a podcast, which is now live on YouTube and Spotify.

I’m not taking any credit for it, just promoting what these amazing women are doing to widen their audience whilst staying true to their values and integrity.

Why is it up to your elbows?!

For the last two evenings I’ve been sharing my love of bannock bread and cooking on rocket stoves with the two Beaver Sections where I volunteer.

I have seen bannock bread in a whole new light! 🤣

Great to see the beavers literally getting stuck into it!
