It is with great sadness we have to inform you that Janet Sellek sadly passed away last night.

Janet had not been in the best of health for a few months.

She did so much for Bushey Bowls Club and Hertfordshire bowls over the years. She loved coaching, bringing on and supporting new players.

Our condolences to her family. She will be so very much missed.

The Bushey Babes enjoyed the W & D ladies Presentation lunch at The Manor House in Abbots Langley. Cheryl Sage as President presented the prizes. Our very own triples team of Dympna, Cheryl and Karen were there to collect their trophy. Well done Bushey.

Today we celebrated our Lady Captains Day. It was enjoyed by all who played, followed by a very enjoyable team. Cheryl presented the Lady Captains Cup to Iris. Well done Iris 🏆

The clubs presentation lunch was held at the excellent Blue Check in Bushey. Malcolm and Cheryl Sage have out the silver ware to the winners and runners up. A big congratulations goes to Charlie Griffin as the first player in the clubs 112 years to have a clean sweep of titles. Perhaps he'd like to let some other players get a look in next season. Well done to all those who took part in the competitions this season

The Watford & District ladies presentation lunch was held The Manor House in Abbots Langley today. The Bushey Babes, Cheryl Sage and Dympna Whybrow were presented with the runners up trophy in the Aussie Pairs. The Bushey Babes collected their trophy for winning the Jubilee Cup in a thrilling game against Kings Langley.
