Herts Ladies Volleyball Club Herts VC Herts VC is a ladies volleyball team based in Hertfordshire competing in the English National Volleyball League.

The original idea behind the club’s inception in 2003 was to provide a forum for the top players from numerous ladies teams in the Hertfordshire local league to develop at a much higher level, compete on a national basis and subsequently improve the standard of play back in their own clubs and throughout Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London. As of today the team is totally self funded, but the project was initially supported by the Hertfordshire Volleyball Association who subsequently contributed towards the cost of entering the club into the National League due to the positive impact on volleyball and junior development in the county. The club has a squad of very committed ladies who train weekly at National League level under the watchful eye of top ladies national coach, Pete Brooks. During the off season, the Club runs open sessions with top quality coaching to improve basic skills and fitness, recruit potential new squad players and assist with funding. Herts Ladies currently train at Queens School in Bushey on Thursday evenings 8-10pm. For more information, contact Club Secretary: [email protected].
