"Currently, I am the Chairman of Lincolnshire Badminton Association which oversees all aspects
of the county including juniors, seniors, masters
and grassroots opportunities. As a committee, we work hard behind the scenes to make badminton accessible for everyone, with it being an inclusive and safe space for all.
I have been in this role for around 2 years and in that time, I have tried to make some positive changes in the way we run. For example, we have gained around five new coaches that Badminton England have supported us with and are looking to run some new tournaments in the near future.”
“The thing I love the most is seeing the enjoyment and happiness on players’ faces when they’re on court, it reminds me of when I was a county junior and playing without a care in the world and feeling free of life’s challenges.”
