This Bank Holiday Monday, the Bury RUFC lads are putting down the rugby balls and picking up the cricket bats as we take on Bury CC in a 20/20 match! 🏏

Armed with a cup of ambition (RIP Dolly 🫶), Saltburn CC’s playbook, and strict instructions from the coaching team NOT to get injured… we’re hoping the lads can pull off an underdog’s miracle win 😂🏏🤞

Missing your rugby weekends? We’ve got you covered. The pre-season fixtures keep on coming!

Head down to Bury Sports Club this weekend for another dose of pre-season rugby! 🙌

Whilst league and cup games have been postponed, we continue to prepare for the season ahead. Pitch conditions will continue to be monitored for player safety and game updates will be posted.

💙💛❤️ More than just rugby… 🏉

We’re incredibly proud of our U14s, who have spent time over the summer volunteering with Growing Together Radcliffe and giving something back to the local community.

And they’ve certainly been put to work! 🙌

🍳 Helping prepare and serve a Veterans’ Breakfast
🥫 Lending a hand with the Food Bank
🗑️ Getting out and about litter picking in the local community

It’s fantastic to see our young players representing Bury RUFC away from the rugby pitch and getting stuck in to support others.

Rugby teaches teamwork, respect and looking out for the people around you – and these lads have shown that those values don’t stop when they take off their boots. 🏉

A massive well done to everyone who has volunteered and a huge thank you to Growing Together Radcliffe for welcoming the team and giving them the opportunity to get involved in the brilliant work they do.
