This week at Walshaw cricket…

On Thursday we have the Walshaw Warriors playing away at Prestwich for a T20. 6pm

At home we have the Tavs playing at 6pm Bradshaw cc, also on Thursday.

Saturday we have the 1st team away at Heaton CC.
Our 2nd team at home hosting Denton CC. Both games start at 12:30pm.

Sunday we have the 3rds playing at home against Thornham. 1:30pm

We also have both of our women’s teams playing away on Sunday at 10am. The 1st team at Shaw CC and the 2nd team at Golborne CC

Come down in the sun and enjoy some cricket ☀️

RESULTS - WEEK 10

A great week for Walshaw with lots to celebrate. The 1s had a fantastic match on Saturday against Stand winning by 97 runs featuring a half century and century for Samo and Glen👏🏻. Unlucky for the 2s who played away at Springhead.

The 3s had a tough match against Friends United but focusing on the positives, we saw Max get his maiden 50 in senior cricket.

Onto the Ladies, both teams had a great week winning their homes games. The Ladies 1s continue their winning streak! 🙌🏻

Our women’s first team host Middleton and our second team also host Flixton at 10am.

Our devs are away to Heywood at 1pm and our thirds are at home to Friends United at 1.30pm.

Upcoming week games for Walshaw CC 🏏

Thursday our Walshaw Warriors take on Woodbank Wildboys at home for a T20 at 6pm.

Our Tavs also play Thursday away at Tonge CC.

Saturday our 1st team host Stand CC at home, with our 2nd team playing away at Springhead CC. 12:30pm

Sunday our 3rd team play at home against Friends United CC with our development team playing away against Heywood. 1:30pm

RESULTS - WEEK 8

A mixed weekend for Walshaw with a loss for the 1s on Saturday against Woodhouses. However, the 2s beat Unsworth by 8 wickets securing a win. Our 2s Captain, George, deserves a special shoutout for his 6-fer👀👏🏻

Sunday started off well for the Ladies 1st team who are now on a 4-week winning streak 🙌🏻. Unlucky for the Ladies 2nd team and 3rd team on their losses.

Thank you to all the supporters who were out in force this weekend. We go again next week. 🏏
