About us

Nick Shack created ‘Shack Wrap' after 10 years working in the bike industry. He has a love for all things with 2 wheels and after purchasing his own bike (with a unique paint job) wanted to do all he could to ‘protect his ride’. Upon sourcing the best materials, he finally made his first kit and applied it to his frame. From here, Colleagues, Riding buddies and customers alike were all asking for their bikes to be protected using his kits too. Demand soon grew, and with a passion to protect his customers investments; Shack Wrap was born! Shack Wrap uses the highest quality clear polyurethane films, which can be applied to bikes (Frames, forks and cranks) to help protect them from the elements whilst out riding, such as; scratches, dents, stone chips, paint fade, scuffs and much more. The film is applied to the areas that would get the most wear and tear, and whilst it can’t protect the bike in any major accidents, it can help the paint work to continue looking almost as good as the day you bought it! when you come to sell) - You can peel it back to reveal a bike that’s almost certainly worth more than it would have been if you hadn't chosen to protect it with Shack Wrap! Taking it right back to the late 90s / early 2000s with this absolute beauty of a Trek 🇺🇸

Decked out in the iconic U.S. Postal Service colours, from the era made famous by Lance Armstrong and the US Postal team. Proper piece of road cycling nostalgia!

Campagnolo Record, rim brakes, skinny tyres, polished alloy everywhere and not a battery, motor, disc brake, power meter or wireless mech in sight. Proper old school! 👌🏼

And the best bit… the new owner is actually using this as his main bike! 🙌🏼

Not hanging on a wall. Not sat in a collection. It’s getting ridden exactly as it should be. Absolutely love seeing old bikes like this still out there doing the miles.

Nearly 30 years on, it’s now had a full Shack Wrap to keep that classic paintwork looking this good for plenty more miles to come.

There’s something seriously cool about working on bikes from this era. A completely different time in cycling and one that’ll bring back some memories for a lot of you!

Yep… a fiver!

This very lucky customer brought his absolutely top-spec custom build in to get fully Shack Wrapped. While I was talking him through exactly how I was going to protect his new pride and joy with the best protection available, he casually dropped into conversation that he’d WON the bike for just £5! 😂

Olly Walshaw 🇬🇧 mini-mullet Mondraker Zendit (26” rear / 27.5” front) rolled into Shack Wrap looking matte and left looking glossy 💋

Olly wasn’t a fan of the stock matte finish and wanted something with a bit more pop. Thanks to our signature seamless kits, this Zendit has been transformed into a deep gloss finish that’s almost impossible to tell wasn’t painted that way from the factory.

Protected, easier to clean, and looking better than ever.
