Yes, I know its the middle of summer but we like to be prepared.... (sometimes)

So here are our winter series dates for 2026/27, slap them in your diary so you dont forget them...

Season opener,

3/4th Oct...the Bury Metro RCC Grip n slip GP

25th Oct.....Winter series rnd 1
15th Nov.....Winter series rnd 2
20th Dec.....Winter series rnd 3
10th Jan....Winter series rnd 4
31st Jan.....Winter series rnd 5
28th Feb.....Winter series rnd 6

Also

18th Oct......fun cork meeting
28/29th nov....Jingle ball vintage meeting.

Tyres for the winter series and carpet day of the Grip n slip meeting will be Azami, with the cork meetings being on honeycombs.

We hope to see lots of you support the winter series again this year, same crack as previous years, if you help pack away, you get a place in the next meeting 👍👍👍👍

As its a club day on Sunday if you would like to do 2 classes that will be fine, but please bear in mind you will still need to either marshall or arrange a marshall for both classes.

Evening guys,

Its our fun club day on Sunday, the weather is gonna be scorchio...allegedly....👀 Southport are closed for their national prep so why not come and play toy car racing in the sun at Bury metro, 2wd,4wd and vintage heats are all an option, suncream is mandatory.

Jingle bell cup returns to Chadderton in 2026!!!!

28th/29th November the excellent jingle bell cup vintage weekender returns to our indoor venue at Chadderton.

This is an excellent event for the vintage cars, being on honeycomb tyres and cork floor, plenty of powerslides are actively encouraged 🤣

More details to be announced but stick the date in thd diary and keep an eye out on either this page or the VMR page.

The Jingle Bell Cup 2026 will be once again at the superb Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Chadderton OL9 0LS.
The date is 28th and 29th of November 2026..

Suns out, guns out!! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

Beautiful day for a bit of toy car racing today, 50 drivers booked so should be a sensible finish time aswell so we can all get home for a beer in good time.......excellent 👍
