Yesterday, Saturday 29th August, we hosted our Gents Singles Open (Stroke Play).
Congratulations to all of the prize winners:
1st Callum Kirkman — 85 - 19 = 66 (£135 club voucher)
2nd David Slingsby — 78 - 12 = 66 (£100 club voucher)
3rd Calum Siddall — 74 - 6 = 68 (£90 shop credit)
4th Robert Neary — 70 - 2 = 68 (£80 shop credit) Lowest gross score, but higher prize value
5th Guy Hamer — 81 - 13 = 68 (£70 club voucher)
6th Jon Brooks — 79 - 11 = 68 (£60 club voucher)
7th Ian Morris — 78 - 10 = 68 (£50 club voucher)
8th Law — 78 - 9 = 69 (£40 shop credit)
Lowest Gross:
Tony Collingson — 73 (£50 shop credit)
We received £1,350 in entry fees, excluding the £5 meal vouchers. As with all of our Opens, we paid out 50% of the entry fees, giving a total prize fund of £675.
The Two's Competition paid out £7.08 per two. Members receive shop credit, while visitors receive a sleeve of golf balls for each two.
A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who helped check everyone in and out, our first tee starters, the greens team for preparing the course, and the bar and catering team for their hard work.
