Just some of the pictures from a great weekend for the Lowes Park GC 2026 Captain’s Trip

44 members and guests travelled to the fabulous Celtic Manor Resort for 3 days of golf and great laughs.

Thank you to Mr Captain Mark Aspinall for a great trip as well as the others who supported with organisation.

Well done to the winners of the various events and prizes.

A hot topic on the trip every year is the much anticipated announcement of the Vice Captain Elect.

Congratulations to Stephen Paul Lafferty who will be incoming Vice Captain for 2027 - well deserved!

Welcome to the team Hollie!

Here we see our Captain Mark Aspinall welcoming Hollie to the Lowes Park family. Hollie joined our greens team this month as our apprentice Greenkeeper. Hollie is doing her apprentice Greenkeeper qualification in association with Myerscough College.

What a team and we are confident Hollie will learn so much from our Head Greenkeeper Chris who has 30 years experience and Michael our Greenkeeper who has an amazing 40 years experience!

This is the team keeping our fabulous course in such great condition
