From the new Musical MRS DOUBTFIRE which is currently at the Opera House in Manchester, and then will be moving to a theatre in London’s west end in 2023.

Today Paulo will be taking a Legally Blonde workshop 🕺💃💅🏻

Aaron Parker (founder of RHYTHM NATION EVENTS and director of RHYTHM NATION ASSOCIATES)
Aaron Graduated from Laine Theatre Arts in 2010 with a distinction in his Diploma in professional musical theatre. Since graduating Aaron has performed all around the world in theatre’s and arena’s, for audiences of 500 to 30,000 people.working along side: Meryl Streep, CHER, ‪Dionne Warwick‬, Arlene Philips, Colin Firth, Ben Elton, Jenna Coleman, ‪Brian May‬ and many more.

Aaron’s credits also include: Mamma Mia 2!: HERE WE GO AGAIN! Featured dancer, Singin’ in the Rain (Pitlochry Festival Theatre), “A-Rab” in the 2016 production of West Side Story (Kilworth House Theatre). Pepper in Mamma Mia! (International Tour, including: South Korea, Hong Kong, Philippines, Dubai and Singapore.) Roger in Grease (Ljubliana Festival, Slovenia) Ensemble in We Will Rock You (World Arena Tour) Ensemble in White Christmas (Pitlochry Festival Theatre) Ensemble understudy Goody & Schlomo in FAME! (UK Tour) 

Concerts Include: Featured Dancer/Vocalist in “Go Local” (Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park), A Tribute To Danny La Rue (London Palladium) and Principle Vocalist for Yamaha Orchestra (Birmingham Symphony Hall), Featured Dancer in “Greatest Show” N.E.C Birmingham.

Choreography includes: Beauty & the Beast (UK productions, pantomime), sense of variety & SHOWMAN (Talent artistic group), Dream Bingo (Advert)  Northern Ballet school (American Musical Masters, musical) Phil Winstons, "The Works". FLASH MOB Glamour, Daegu South Korea.

TV & Films include: Featured ensemble in Mamma Mia 2! “HERE WE GO AGAIN”, FREEMANS commercial (GATE Films), Simon in Coronation Street (ITV), Featured dancer with ‪Snow Patrol‬ (Music Video), Played “Dave” in Made In The Eighties.

Aaron also teaches and lectures at Northern Ballet School, Leeds Conservatoire and Institute of contemporary theatre.

Understudying Ren in Footloose, UK Tour; Never Forget (Take That Musical) UK Tour covering and playing Jose and Ron Freeman; 'Hot Stuff' Leicester Curve; 'Coronation Street' Arena Tour; 'Dirty Dancing' Aldwych Theatre (west end) and UK Tour; 'Anything Goes' Kilworth House; 'Dance Til’ Dawn' Aldwych Theatre (west end) and UK tour.

RHYTHM NATION ASSOCIATES - Apply Now!
Our associate programme is open to ages 7years to 17 years. We are looking for dancers across the north of the UK, who have a passion for dance in all styles.
You will train with us once a month along side some of the industry’s leading professional dancers, choreographers and tutors.
Working at a professional level on technique, style and discipline.
Our typical day starts at 10am finishing at 3pm, with 30min lunch break in between.
Are aim is to inspire!

Providing performing arts students “up north” the same opportunities and experiences that the south take for granted. And most importantly inspire a new generation of performers. Focusing on the North West of England. [ TRAIN - EXCEL - INSPIRE ]

We are so excited to have workshop taken today by Amy Lawson, known from her time on “THE GREATEST DANCER” with the dance group THE QUEENS 👑

Amy trained at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks Blackpool, graduated in 2014 and headed straight off to Southampton for 2 contracts with Headliners, P&O cruises.
After moving to London, she went on to work with choreographers like Richard Peakman and Gaz Davis. Dancing in Theatre companies across the UK for many years, such as The Ariana Grande Experience and performed a magical Christmas Tour through the London West End theatres, with Anton Du Beke.

Her most recent success was being a member of The Queens, who made it to the Live finals of The Greatest Dancer on BBC 1, being chosen as one of Cheryl’s top 3 finalists. Their most recent work was a collaboration for an advert with Fila Trainers.

For now, her performing has taken a back seat so Amy looks forward to passing on her knowledge and skill set to the next generation of performers in a full out, sassy & friendly workshop!
