BSE Fortify Five 6 🖤

We’re back in Bury St Edmunds tomorrow morning for another Fortify Five!

We’re a little short on pacers this week, so we’ve only got our 25:00, 27:30, 30:00 and 35:00 pacers in place, but we’ll still have our tail runner to make sure no one gets left behind 👊

As always, everyone is welcome. Come along, get your 5KM done, meet some great people and start your Sunday the right way.

32 of us out tonight for another Knight Run!

We’re making the most of these lighter evenings while we still have them, because we don’t think it’ll be long before the Proviz jackets and head torches make their return 👀

There’s always such a great energy outside The Fort before we set off, and tonight was no different.

FRC Take On Felixstowe 🖤

We’re heading back to Felixstowe parkrun on Saturday 3rd October!

We’ll be taking on the 5KM together as a community before getting the all-important group photo and heading down to the docks for breakfast at View Point Cafe.

We wanted to get the date out early so you’ve got plenty of time to get it in the diary and plan ahead 👀

Knight Run 16 🖤

We’re back at The Home of Fortify this Thursday for another Knight Run.

As the darker evenings begin to draw in, these midweek runs become even more important, giving everyone the opportunity to get out, run with others and feel safe as part of a group.

This week we’ve got our usual three pace groups:

🏃🏼 6:00/km (30 mins) - John-Jo
🏃🏼 7:00/km (35 mins) - Claire
🏃🏼 8:00/km (40 mins/Tail) - Steve

You don’t have to stick to these groups, they’re simply there to give you the opportunity to run together if you want to.

Fortify Five 31 🖤

56 of you turned up this morning for one of our first Sundays with some properly poor weather!

The route included some big hills, but it was great to hear so many of you coming back saying you felt a real sense of accomplishment after the run. Even if some of you did have your pitchforks ready for Steve to get back 🤣

It was also great to see those carrying injuries still coming down on a Sunday morning. It really emphasises that this club isn’t just about running, but about building a community too.

Next up, Knight Run on Thursday, back at The Fort 🖤
