Some goodbyes are harder than others.
This week we say goodbye to Dalton, Danielle, Lizzie and Zach as they head back home after another spell in the UK.
Dalton first found his way to Mildenhall & Red Lodge after Kev convinced him to come along to a game. Before he knew it, he was playing a full half with his family watching from the sidelines – and from that moment, he was hooked.
Since then, Dalton has been everything you could ask for in a teammate. Strong, committed and someone who always gave everything when he pulled on the shirt. But more importantly, he's one of the kindest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. The sort of person who always puts others first and makes everyone around him feel welcome.
The same can be said for Danielle, Lizzie and Zach. They've become a huge part of our club, and they'll be missed just as much as Dalton.
This may be the end of Dalton's second stint in England, but he'll always have a place at Mildenhall & Red Lodge. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
From everyone at the club, thank you for everything. We wish you all the very best for the next chapter back home, and we know our paths will cross again.
