It’s probably about time we gave a bit of an update. We’ve had some changes, departures and additions!

The gym is still going strong - open for members only from 5am -11pm. You will never find it too busy, just friendly! Contact The Gym at Barrow - Suffolk Academy for a viewing or induction.

Staying with fitness - Suffolk Running Centre have taken a break but in their place are Zig Zag Running offering regular events here from 5k up to ultra marathons. They are a very friendly group and offer great coffee and cake to follow your run.

If you want a massage following your exertion or just to feel good then Nicky Bennett is your go to girl. Also offering personal fitness support she has her studio here.

Nicky takes the unit previously The Scissor Box who now operate bigger and better down the road in Risby. And we wish Sarah Oman all the best, it was wonderful seeing her grow here over the years.

Fancy some fun? Our mini golf is now open. Pirates Cove Mini Golf is a 12 hole course for all the family. At just £6 an adult and £4 a child it’s proving very popular. You can just drop by but better to book ahead or message to ensure we are open.

Suffolk Escape Academy offer 2 escape rooms, a Sherlock Holmes puzzle or a Jail Break! If you haven’t tried a room before we highly recommend. Loads of fun and gets those grey cells working!

Barrow Archery Club are still going strong. Members can come and shoot all days of the year and beginner sessions or one off fun sessions are available at a very reasonable £22 for a full hour with Pulse Archery. Air soft is also available.

After all of that why not stop for a coffee, a beer or maybe a pizza in The Camp Out Cafe & Bar. Have a game of shuffleboard in the cafe or browse our book swap. Open every weekend at least and more in school holidays. Drop by on your walk round Crattle - when you see the open sign. Breakfast baps are already a firm favourite - served from 9.30am Saturday, Sundays and bank holidays.

The cafe of course supports Church View Campsite Suffolk our touring campsite. We have folks come from all over for stopovers or their main holiday in Suffolk. With lots to do it’s really popular and of course they love the village with all the choice of food, drink and shops. Most pitches have EHU and water with 24 hour shower and toilet facilities.
