Tuesday's Session Grooming & Handling,
so the
We started off with picking Latimer's & Ediths feet out, & talked about why we were picking the feet out. so there feet dont get sore & dont get abcesses, etc
The children couldnt do much grooming it was too hot, they sponged the pony's off & kay hosed them down, the children loved doing this, not only did the pony's got to cool off, so did they🤣🤣most of them were very wet,
The children had a go a at Leading the Pony's up & down the yard, they tried hard to walk in a straight line.
They had a go at labelling the items on the grooming kit sheets. The older children wrote about each item of the grooming kit
& described what the items do, the little children picked 2 items off of the grooming kit list & drew their 2 favourite items & labelled it.
We then drew a picture of a horse & rider Leading their Pony, they listed, all items the rider should be wearing & what the pony needs to have on to beable to lead them.
