ARGYLE EXPERIENCE 💚🤍

Last week the blue and white met with the green and white! The boys and siblings were treated to an amazing experience at Home Park! A tour of the stadium, a training session, flag bearers and a half time shooting drill. So much fun had by all and an even better full time result.

ST GEORGE’S PARK 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏆

This weekend has been something special taking these boys to play against the best in the country at Englands training ground. After winning the ESF Festival of Football at Butlins the boys went onto the Grand Finale at St George’s Park. Unfortunately when you play against best with boys coming through from the pre-academies like Southampton, Bournemouth, Arsenal, West Ham, Tottenham, and many others, you have to take defeat and it just wasn’t the boys day.

We are still unbelievably proud of them and how many 6/7 year olds can say they are in the top 6% of the country at their age group. A once in a lifetime experience, that they will remember forever with their team furthermore their mates.

2025/26 PRESENTATION 🏆

Celebrating the season with the boys at the MAP presentation hosted at Borringdon Golf Club. What a season it has been for the boys!

Well done to all the lads, we are so proud of all of you. The tenacity, hunger and bond you have you cannot teach.

We also had some extra awards for the season:

🏆 Coaches Player: Our Keeper, in one of the hardest positions on the pitch. Always at training, even showing up for extra Keeper training for his team. Also saving a great penalty in the final at Butlins.

🏆 Managers Player: Our Number 6, who has developed into a cracking player. Relentless running up and down the pitch and putting that extra effort in for the team. Scoring some beauties too!

🏆 Players Player: Our Number 7, a natural football brain. He’s been put everywhere on the pitch, his versatility and commitment to the team shines through. He is our Razor Ruddock at the back! 💪🏼

🏆 Supports Player: Our Number 8, Mr. Reliable where ever you put him, pulling strings in the midfield. Iniesta moves and scoring screamers.

The rest of the lads also had an amazing season which is why it was hard to chose.

⚽️ Our Number 3: Left foot wizard, conjuring worldies of a goal especially when it’s mattered the most in the Butlins and RnT finals.

⚽️ Our Number 4: Rock of the back, solid in his defence and tackles. Taking on everyone that comes his way. Even getting a few goals on his break running forwards.

⚽️Our Number 9: His passion to get the ball, retaining it and fending off big opponents. Putting all his body in defending and attacking, grabbing a few screamers.

⚽️Our Number 11: Our newest recruit who feels like he’s always been there. Rapid on the ball, scoring goals with his fancy footwork. Beauty of a winning penalty in the Butlins final!

The boys continue to work hard for St. George’s Park in a few weeks.

THE UNSTOPPABLES 🏆

Another tournament win for the boys, this time at Buckland Athletic Football Club. Four group games then, Quarter Finals, Semis and a Final, 27 goals scored, only 3 conceded.

After 4weeks of back to back tournaments the boys dug deep, and kept finding ways to win week after week. Massive credit to every single one of the boys for their effort, character and mentality shown all day.

Well done boys still unbeaten at U7s, rest up for the next couple of weeks as the count down is on for St. George’s 🩵⚽️

RUNNERS UP 🥈

Over the course of two days at Barnstaple Rugby Football Club the boys took part in the SCI Woolacombe Tournament in a mixed U7s/U8s category.

The first day the boys fell short of the finals after losing to both U8 teams by only one goal each game. They didn’t make it easy and gave it their all, passing around in their formations, breaking teams apart.

Day two the boys made it to the final against a very strong U8 team who won the day before. They fought with every tackle, going behind they didn’t drop their heads, they were unfazed by the score and kept going to the bitter end. It wasn’t over until that final whistle for them but unfortunately it wasn’t to be.

They’ve had a fantastic weekend being together, having fun, enjoying playing football and that’s what it’s all about.

The boys can hold their heads up high and can still say their are undefeated at U7 level 🩵
