A solid & productive first private test session at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for VRacer driver Rashid Kassim & his teammate Jamie Ryan on the new F1 Games from Codemasters F1 2020 game.

With the new and upcoming Invictus Racing League PC League on the horizon. The Scuderia Ferrari boys took to the race track. Racking up a mammoth 150+ laps between themselves over the course of four and a half hours of testing! ⏱📈

The boys will be back out on track tomorrow in their elegant Ferrari SF1000 cars for their second testing programme of the week. 🏁

Early days, but looking strong. We look forward to pre-season testing later this month!

Tonight it’s round 4 of the BSR-TCR Sunday cup. Stephen and Dan have merged with Nicol Foggie and Johnny Brandon from XVR for this championship to go for gold in the teams championship and we are currently locked in a battle with team RSO from Germany.

The racing tonight comes from Donington Park on the national layout. Join the stream below from Jake Sparey and his 4Ever Sim Racing channel and subscribe to it too. It’s always good to watch a broadcast and this one is very good. It begins at 8pm. Tune in.

This weekend, Jason and Alleric attended rAge Expo which is South Africa's biggest gaming expo. ATK Arena had a hotlap challenge on GT Sport in partnership with BMW where they were giving away a Logitech G29 everyday for the fastest time. They also had a main prize for the fastest lap of the weekend which is 2x VIP tickets to the BMW M Festival that takes place 26th October at Kyalami Circuit.

Jason and Alleric both improved their times throughout the day and ended with Jason getting a 1:38:2 and Alleric setting a 1:37:9. Both walked away with a new Logitech G29. Awesome performance from the lads sporting their new VRacer team shirts.

Recently as well, the lads went to comic con and had a 4 day hot lap challenge on AC with the AMG GT3 around Nurburgring Sprint GT layout as the event was sponsored by Mercedes Benz South Africa. Fastest driver of the day got an AMG Driving Experience voucher and fastest overall driver walked away with a 2019 A250 Sport for a year. Jason was the fastest overall until 30 minutes before the end of the competition where a guy called Zaahir Essa came and destroyed the hard work he had put in. That’s the benefits of being a real race driver with experience.

All in all, many many positives to take from the guys and the pace they are showing is excellent lately. Keep it up 🙌

We’ve only gone and won it! BSRTC teams champion which for us is a massive achievement considering it’s our first year as a full entry. So proud of everyone in the team. Also, congratulations to Ross Macfarlane on retaining 3rd place in the PRO category too.

A really big thanks to all our sponsors for the support over the past year - The Events House, noblechairs UK, Swedish Rig Designs, EXSIM UK, Lux Liveries and also a big thanks to PearzyD to making all our social media pictures and posters. A big thanks to Apex Racing TV for the broadcasts over the whole season too. It’s always good to watch them back the day after.

Off to enjoy a little bit of non competition downtime before we are right back in the thick of things but this time with the Audi RS3 TCR car that is new to iRacing. We all tried it for the first time last night and were suitably impressed. Can’t wait to take it to the track with a VRacer livery on it!

It’s finally here. The final round of the BSRTC and the final ever night of racing the Kia Optima as our car for the championship. After this week the league moves on to using the brand new Audi RS3 TCR but before then we have much more important matters to tend to.

We go into the final round very much in the mix to win the teams championship which would be a massive achievement for us as a fairly new team. 3 more races to go.

We arrive this week at Brazil and the Autodromo Carlos Pace circuit on the penultimate week of the BSRTC league. We are currently locked in a battle for the teams championship and we still have all drivers mathematically in contention for the individual championships too.
