What is TRX?

TRX is a strap that hangs from above head height that has two loops, for either hands or feet on either end

Who started TRX?

TRX was started in 1997 by Randy Hetrick who was part of the US navy seals. He was getting bored of your typical Bodyweight exercises (who doesnโ€™t ๐Ÿ˜) so made a TRX prototype out of a jiu-jitsu belt & some parachute webbing

How does TRX work?

TRX is based on seven basic movement patters that are part of our everyday lives

- Push, Pull, Plank, Rotate, Hinge, Lunge & Squat

It turns simple & boring Bodyweight exercises into something much tougher & demands you engage your core through the whole workout

Why use TRX?

TRX has so many benefits but here are a few

- Engages your core the whole time

- Allows you to tailor each exercise to your ability by simply moving your body position

- Low impact training whilst still getting all the benefits from traditional methods

- Allows a variety of exercises in a short amount of time & space

Chilli Sweet Potato Fries ๐ŸŒถ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŸ

Ingredients:
- 4 Large Sweet Potatoes ๐Ÿ 
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder, Chilli Powder, Ground Cumin, Dried Oregano, Paprika
- 500g Ground Beef ๐Ÿฅฉ
- 1 Onion (Diced) ๐Ÿง…
- 1 Pepper (Diced) ๐Ÿซ‘
- 1 Tin Of Sweetcorn
- 1 Tin Of Tomatoes ๐Ÿฅซ
- 1 Tin Of Black Beans

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200 & line a large baking sheet with parchment paper

2. Cut the sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch fries & place them into a large bowl.
Sprinkle fries with pepper & garlic powder, then drizzle with oil (Toss well to get all of your fries nicely coated)

3. Arrange in a single layer, with some space in between (so they can crisp up), on the baking sheets and bake for 20 to 25 minutes (flipping once during roasting time)

4. Meanwhile, heat a large (lidded) skillet over medium heat then add in your beef, onions and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently for about 6-7 minutes, or until meat starts to brown while breaking up the meat.

5. Add in seasonings, peppers, corn, black beans & tomatoes then gently stir to combine.

6. Reduce heat to low, cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes to allow flavors to develop and chilli to thicken. Taste test, and add a sprinkle of sea salt if desired.

Serve the sweet potato fries topped with your beef chilli and add any extra toppings of your choice...

Expansion coming very soonโ€ผ๏ธ

This is what the current gym space is looking like with massive plans to knock through into the unit next door which will open the space up considerably

When the expansion happens this current space will become the functional/group exercise side and the other unit will look like the more traditional gym with equipment being delivered such as; dumbbells & barbells, benches, cable crossover + LAT pull & row, leg press, treadmill + self powered treadmill
