Winshill FC

Winshill FC Winshill FC is a Junior Football Club based in Burton on Trent. We formed in 1998 when Gary Dunne set up two teams to play in local leagues at U10 and U11.

The club grew and became the FIRST, and still only one of a few, FA Development Clubs in the area

The transformation is unreal. In the height of the heatwave on 17th August is was a dustbowl but today (5th September) its getting back to how we usually have it. Fingers Crossed those dry areas caused by French Drains will soon recover.

Wow, what an excellent Saturday morning at Abbot Beyne today. We have a massive team of people to help build the goals and put the respect barriers out in record time (again), all finished by 915am.
Thank you to each and every one of you, you were brilliant! Special thanks too to the lads that did the white lines on Friday morning, 7 of us took just 2 hours to do all 16 pitches.
We now look forward to greeting the 92 teams to our "Winshill FC Gala Tournament" and making some great memories for the 700+ players

We are looking forward to receiving our guests and hoping to see some great football on display⚽️⚽️
No Dogs Allowed❌
No BBQ's Allowed❌
No Alcohol Allowed❌
Please prepare to pay £3 per (every) adult on entry, kids are free.
16 pitches, 96 teams, 700 kids and 2000 spectators.
It's going to be a good one!😁
