Branston Golfers!

You may remember me as a Junior Captain or serving your drinks in the restaurant. Just to update you. I am a PhD Candidate in Golf Training whilst working with university golfers on their performance over the last couple years. Using this experience I have joined Branston G&CC Gym Team as a Personal Trainer focusing on training golfers

A Little Course Update from the 3rd Hole… 🌊

As many of you will have seen, the recent flooding paid a visit and on our 3rd hole, decided to do a bit of “course redesign” while it was here!

The wooden bridge by the 3rd tee has been uprooted by the high waters and has taken a short trip downstream. It’s now sitting neatly alongside the bridge by the green, as if they’ve decided they rather like each other’s company!

The good news is that the water is now subsiding and we’re currently reviewing our options to get everything back where it belongs. We’re hopeful this will be rectified as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, to keep everyone high and dry, the ladies’ tee on the 3rd will be moved across to the main tee to avoid having to use the bridge.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding while we get things sorted and at least we can say our bridges are bringing people together… just not quite how we planned! 😄
